Brazil go through their paces in training ahead of Paraguay clash - in pictures

Tournament hosts made comfortable progress to the knockout stages, topping Group A with eight points

Copa America 2019 hosts Brazil take on Paraguay in the first quarter-final on Friday morning (4.30am UAE time).

Ahead of the match at Arena do Gremio in Porto Alegre, the eight-time champions went through their paces in a training session, overseen by manager Tite.

Brazil made comfortable progress to the knockout stages, topping Group A with eight points following a 3-0 win over Bolivia in their opening game, a goalless draw with Venezuela, and a 5-0 thrashing of Peru.

Meanwhile, Paraguay qualified for the quarter-finals after finishing third in Group B.

The winner of this match will take on either Colombia or Chile in the semi-finals.
