Al Ain were last night disqualified from the President's Cup and their place in the quarter-finals will now will be filled by Masafi, the second divsion club, whom they beat 3-0 on February 9.
According to the Competitions Committee of the Football Association, Al Ain flouted the rules by playing Juma Saeed, the Ivorian forward, who was replaced during last month's mid-season transfer window but remains as a foreign player in the reserve team.
Masafi play Al Wahda in the quarter-finals on February 24.
