Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Vinicius Jr and Kylian Mbappe have partnered with Lego for a new advert ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Four of football's biggest superstars will all be at this summer's finals, taking place in the US, Canada and Mexico starting June 11.
Ronaldo and Co have been transformed into official minifigures to spearhead Lego's new 'Editions' collection. This collaboration follows the success of the Lego World Cup trophy, shifting the focus from silverware to the individual stars who define the sport.
The sets are designed to celebrate "creative soccer culture", offering fans a way to interact with their heroes through technical builds and display-ready art.
The quartet star in the new advert, competing to complete a Lego World Cup trophy at a table, before a young boy steps in to complete the job and place his own personalised figure on top.
Each set incorporates distinctive elements linked to the player’s identity, including national colours, squad numbers and hidden details intended to reward fans with a deeper knowledge of their careers.
“It’s not every day you get to be transformed into a Lego set!" said Portugal captain Ronaldo, who will appear at a record-extending sixth World Cup. "I’m incredibly honoured to be part of this new lineup of Lego Editions, alongside three other incredible players in the sport."
The Ronaldo model, built around an R-shaped brick base in Portugal’s colours, includes references to the forward’s rise through the game as well as his globally recognised CR7 branding. The set also features a minifigure and a collectable plaque.
Messi’s design centres on an M-shaped base incorporating Argentina’s colours and his iconic No 10 shirt, allowing fans to recreate moments associated with the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner.
"Similar to football, Lego play is all about building and rebuilding, trying new things, learning from mistakes and celebrating successes," said Messi, who will captain defending champions Argentia at this year's World Cup.
"I love how these Lego sets bring my on-pitch moments to life in a fun and imaginative way. I'm thrilled for fans to explore the magic of football through these sets and together celebrate the sport we all love."

The collection also reflects a younger generation of stars. Vinicius' set is constructed around a V-shaped base in Brazil’s colours, highlighting his pace and flair, while Mbappe’s model mirrors his speed and precision, featuring a sleek M-shaped base in the colours of France alongside his No 10 shirt.
It’s a fun way to share my journey and my passion," Mbappe said. "If it can inspire young people to believe in their ambitions, build their own path, and enjoy creating along the way, then that’s a true victory."
His Real Madrid teammate and Brazil forward Vinicius added: "Just like on the field, these sets allow fans to explore new moves and celebrate the energy of the game. I hope they inspire everyone to build their own football dreams.”
Alongside the individual player builds, the collection includes “Football Highlights” sets, designed to capture key moments from matches in a more cinematic format, as well as larger “Football Legend” editions aimed at collectors.
The range is intended to appeal to a broad audience, from younger fans discovering the sport to long-time supporters seeking memorabilia with a creative twist.
