Cruz strikes in the nick of time for Mourinho

Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan left it late to take all the points against Udinese. The champions looked like they were going to be frustrated again as they struggled to create openings against high-flying Udinese, who had begun the day third in the table. But in the second minute of stoppage time Julio Cruz headed home for Inter. Napoli maintained their impressive start to the season as goals from Daniele Mannini and Marcelo Zalayeta saw them defeat Sampdoria 2-0.

Lazio moved into a top-four position as they triumphed 3-0 against Siena in Rome. Mauro Zarate gave them the lead 12 minutes after half-time, before two goals in the last five minutes from Tommaso Rocchi completed an impressive day at the office. The big winners on the day were Genoa who breezed past Reggina 4-0. In Saturday's games a stoppage-time own goal from Cicinho gave third-from-bottom Bologna a 1-1 home draw against AS Roma in Sinisa Mihajlovic's first game in charge.

The Brazilian defender's diving header cancelled out Francesco Totti's 68th-minute strike. Torino got the better of Palermo 1-0 thanks to a volley from the Austrian midfielder Juergen Saeumel a minute from time. * Agencies
