RAJASTHAN ROYALS RATINGS: Ben Stokes – 5. Cut a sorrowful figure in the field, and it is understandable if his mind is elsewhere. One over with the ball, and five off six in a scratchy return to the crease. Sportzpics for BCCI

Rahul Tewatia – 9. Got an earful from Archer for a misfield. Was ordinary with the ball. But it is all about how you finish, meaning he was the hero again. Sportzpics for BCCI

Riyan Parag – 8. It had been a difficult tournament for the teenager till this point, but his stand with Tewatia was a show of class. Sportzpics for BCCI

Shreyas Gopal – 6. Quite the new-ball contrast, with him opening alongside Archer. None for 31 was satisfactory, if not threatening. Sportzpics for BCCI

Jofra Archer – 8. Roared in anger after a misfield denied him a maiden in a blistering second over. His figures were skewed by two sixes by Williamson in his last over. Sportzpics for BCCI

SUNRISERS HYDERABAD RATINGS: David Warner – 7. He has not given the impression of being fully at the peak of his powers as yet in UAE, but continues to eke out runs. This time it was 48 in 38. Sportzpics for BCCI

Jonny Bairstow – 6. Saw off a vicious opening burst from Archer, only to then fall to a tumbling outfield catch by Samson off Tyagi. Took a good catch to get rid of Buttler. Sportzpics for BCCI

Manish Pandey – 7. His 44-ball 54 was his second half-century of the season. He appeared to be running out of puff in the heat by the end. Sportzpics for BCCI

Kane Williamson – 8. He has a penchant for one-handed straight sixes at the moment. Hitting one for 93 metres off Archer is pretty flash. Sportzpics for BCCI

Priyam Garg – 7. Not much time to force himself on proceedings, but he did well with what he got. A six to the long boundary off Unadkat was the highlight. Sportzpics for BCCI

Vijay Shankar – 7. The most economical of the Hyderabad bowlers in his three overs, and was sharp in running out Smith from the boundary line. Sportzpics for BCCI

Abhishek Sharma – 5. Only given the one over to show his left-arm spin wares, and it went for 11. Sportzpics for BCCI

Rashid Khan – 8. It goes to show how well Tewatia was seeing it that he took three consecutive fours from Rashid. Everyone else struggled to lay a bat on him. Sportzpics for BCCI

Thangarasu Natarajan – 7. So consistent with his yorkers. Sent down a maiden early on, but was unable to stop Tewatia’s charge in the penultimate over. Sportzpics for BCCI

Khaleel Ahmed – 6. It was all looking so good when he dismissed Stokes and Buttler within the first seven balls he bowled, but Tewatia had the last laugh. Sportzpics for BCCI

Sandeep Sharma – 6. Just 14 off his first three overs, but the 18 he went for in his last provided Rajasthan with the impetus they required. Sportzpics for BCCI

Rahul Tewatia and Riyan Parag turned up the heat in the death overs as Rajasthan Royals ended their four-match losing streak in the Indian Premier League with a five-wicket win against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday.

Tewatia smashed an unbeaten 45 runs off 28 balls and Parag, 18, hit fast bowler Khaleel Ahmed for a six to complete the victory. Parag scored 42 off 26 as Rajasthan reached 163-5 with one ball to spare in Dubai.

Manish Pandey (54) and captain David Warner (48) had earlier taken Hyderabad to a below par score of 158-4.
