Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Chennai Super Kings by 10 runs in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday after an all-round display by their bowlers.

Kolkata posted 167 in their 20 overs, thanks mainly to opening batsman Rahul Tripathi who scored 81 from just 51 balls.

Dwayne Bravo picked up three wickets for Chennai Super Kings while Karn Sharma, Shardul Thakur and Sam Curran took two apiece as the Knight Riders were bowled out.

In reply, Chennai only lost five wickets but somehow failed to keep up with the required rate. They could only muster 157-5.

Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner and Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan was in attendance at the Zayed Cricket Stadium on Wednesday. He watched his team put in a clinical performance, alongside his son Aryan and daughter Suhana.
