Cricket, like all sports, reveres records. While players generally only care about wins, titles and playing in the right spirit, it does not hurt to have a few records next to their name.

Some records are ingrained in most people's memories: India's Sachin Tendulkar has scored the most centuries; Don Bradman has the best Test average of any batsman, Australia have won the 50-over-World Cup on three successive occasions.

But there are some other records and stats that are not so well known, but deserve our attention and acknowledgment.
