RAJASTHAN ROYALS RATINGS: Yashasvi Jaiswal – 2. Elevation to the IPL appears to have come a little too early for the 18-year old. Restored to the side, only to make a second-ball duck. Sportzpics for BCCI

Jos Buttler – 8. Battled against the inevitable with a plucky 70 from 44 balls, before falling to boundary-rider extraordinaire Pollard. Sportzpics for BCCI

Steve Smith – 1. A third failure in a row with the bat, a poor shot, and questionable decisions as captain. Why start with Rajpoot’s throw-downs rather than Archer’s rockets?. Sportzpics for BCCI

Sanju Samson – 4. Like Smith, he has barely got a run since his Sharjah heroics. At least he held a catch, though. Sportzpics for BCCI

Shreyas Gopal – 7. The best of Rajasthan’s bowlers, going for 28, and taking the wickets of Rohit and Kishan in successive balls. Sportzpics for BCCI

Ankit Rajpoot – 5. Let Mumbai’s vaunted openers get away to a comfortable start, and bowled a no-ball in the final over. Sportzpics for BCCI

Kartik Tyagi – 7. The pace bowler, who played for India at the Under 19 World Cup earlier this year, showed plenty of promise on debut, especially in bouncing out De Kock. Sportzpics for BCCI

Jasprit Bumrah was back to his miserly best as Mumbai Indians outplayed Rajasthan Royals by 57 runs in Abu Dhabi.

Mumbai posted an imposing 193-4 batting first, thanks to an unbeaten 79 from Suryakumar Yadav. And they managed that without Kieron Pollard getting a chance to bat.

Mumbai's superior pace attack then dismantled Rajasthan's top order. Bumrah (4-20) and Trent Boult (2-26) reduced the Royals to 12-3 and the chase was as good as gone.
