Romeo Beckham has reiterated his modelling credentials as the star of Burberry’s first ever global festive campaign.

Burberry kicked off the campaign with a short film, “From London with Love”. Beckham plays a boy delivering a gift (said to be the gift of “love”) to a young couple, played by British models and dancers Hannah Dodds and Anders Hayward. The film is said to be inspired by the golden age of cinematic musicals and features 50 dancers.

Burberry’s chief creative and chief executive officer Christopher Bailey, who directed the campaign, was full of praise for the young star: “It continues to be an utter joy working with Romeo – he has charm, style and great energy. I’m delighted that he’s the lead role in our festive campaign.”

The campaign will run across outdoor advertising, cinema, and all of the brand’s ten global social media platforms over the course of the next three months. A full range of Burberry festive gifts are now available on Burberry.com, including the iconic pieces showcased in the campaign – the Heritage trench coat, the cashmere scarf, men’s tailoring, women’s eveningwear, and Burberry Beauty make-up.
