President Sheikh Mohamed has shared National Day greetings with the UAE's citizens and residents.
The head of state released pictures of his extended family as they marked the country's founding. The UAE has declared 2026 as the Year of the Family, with a focus on unity and social cohesion.
He expressed his best wishes as the country celebrates the 54th National Day, known as Eid Al Etihad. He thanked the public for their contributions to the progress of the nation.
"To the people of the UAE, both citizens and residents alike, I congratulate you on the occasion of the 54th Eid Al Etihad and extend my sincere thanks for your contribution to our nation’s ongoing development," Sheikh Mohamed wrote on X.
"Through our collective efforts, the unity of our families and the strength of our society, the UAE’s journey of progress will continue. May God grant you, and the blessed land of Zayed, enduring prosperity and well-being."
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, also posted a message on X, sharing his greetings with Sheikh Mohamed and the Rulers of the emirates. "May God preserve the United Arab Emirates and perpetuate its might, glory and prestige," Sheikh Mohammed wrote.
