A Pakistani army helicopter has crashed near Muzaffarabad in the Kashmir region, killing everyone on board.
The Mi-17 aircraft crashed during take-off due to a reported technical fault, state television reported.
Rescue teams were sent to the scene, while authorities ordered an inquiry to determine the cause of the crash.
No further details were immediately available regarding the number of personnel on board or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Pakistan's Foreign Minister Isaq Dar said he was "deeply saddened by the tragic crash.
"We salute their service, courage and sacrifice in the line of duty. Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families during this hour of grief," he said on X.
