Emirates Airline has announced more repatriation flights from Dubai International Airport.
The airline will operate flights to Jakarta, Manila, Taipei, Chicago and Kabul. These services are for outbound travellers only, and are meant for foreigners trying to return home.
The Dubai airline will also operate outbound flights to Tunisia and Algeria.
Meanwhile, Emirates continues to operate previously announced repatriation flights to London Heathrow and Frankfurt until April 19.
Emirates will take off for Jakarta on Wednesday, April 15, with one-way economy fares available to book online from Dh1,900.
Anyone looking to travel to the Philippines can book one of two flights set to depart Dubai for Manila on Wednesday, April 15, and Thursday, April 16. Fares in economy class start from Dh2,500 for a one-way flight.
The Dubai airline will fly to Taipei on Saturday, April 18, with economy tickets available to book starting from Dh2,500.
Emirates will also operate to Chicago from Saturday, April 18, which will be the airline's first US flight available since the UAE announced its temporary suspension of passenger flights in March. One-way fares to O'Hare International Airport are bookable from Dh4,500 in economy class and from Dh9,000 in business.
Emirates will also operate three flights to Kabul, with the first flight departing Dubai on Thursday, April 16. Economy fares for the three-hour journey start from Dh1,750, one-way.
A flight to Tunisia will depart Dubai International Airport on Wednesday, April 15 and another will fly to Algeria on Thursday, April 16. However, booking for both these destinations is not available online and travellers wishing to fly to either must contact their relevant embassy for more information.
For all other repatriation flights that are available for reservation on Emirates website, passengers do not need to secure any documents from their embassy to travel. However, travellers should check their eligibility to enter the destination of their choice before booking flights.
No online check-in
Emirates reminds all passengers that gloves and face masks must be worn in order to guarantee boarding.
Travellers should also be aware that no cabin baggage will be allowed on repatriation flights other than laptop bags, handbags and baby supplies.
Travellers must check-in for flights at the airport as online check-in is currently suspended.
Emirates crew will select seats for travellers on these flights in order to apply social-distancing measures.
These flights will operate with a reduced in-flight service and provide no magazines and special meals.
