Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas hosted their second wedding reception in Mumbai on Wednesday, almost three weeks after the pair wed in a lavish ceremony at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur.
Wednesday's reception was held as a gesture of thanks to the couple's family and friends, and followed a more formal reception held in New Delhi earlier this month, which was attended by Bollywood stars and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The actress chose a custom-made navy blue lehenga with gold detailing for the occasion, designed by Sabyasachi Anarkali, while Jonas wore a grey suit and black shirt. Chopra was also sporting an intricate diamond necklace.
Media were in attendance for the reception, hosted by Priyanka’s mother, and the actress took the opportunity to proudly introduce her new husband to “all the people who had come to meet him”.
Jonas also gave a brief speech as the reception got underway, joking that it was his “first show in India”.
“It wasn’t too far from here that I took Madhu out for lunch to ask her if I could marry her daughter,” he told guests. “So to be here tonight with all the people who have helped shape who she has become means the world to me, and to welcome me with such open arms in just unbelievable.”

Priyanka and Nick married on December 1 and 2, first in a Christian ceremony led by Nick's pastor father, followed by a traditional Hindu celebration. The pair honeymooned in Oman, enjoying a brief stay at a luxury resort in Sultanate, before returning to India for the wedding of Isha Ambani.
