Porsche 928 to return?

STUTTGART // The Porsche 928, the car made famous by Tom Cruise in the 1980s movie Risky Business and dropped without fanfare from the German car maker's range in 1995, could be about to make an unexpected return. Having invested heavily in the development of the recently launched four-door Porsche Panamera, the senior management group in Stuttgart is believed to be looking for a second use for the four-door, four-seat saloon's platform to recoup some of the substantial funds sunk into its production. One idea currently being considered is to use the Panamera's chassis to produce a next generation three-door 928 high-performance hatchback.
