Despite the fact that you can buy the iPad in the UAE, the device's official launch here is set to be a little bit longer.
Today, Apple said that the international release of its successful tablet device would be delayed for one more month because its US launch has exceeded the company's expectations.

According to Apple, the company plans to announce international pricing and begin taking online pre-orders on May 10. That offer will likely include Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK - whether that will include the UAE or another Middle East country, remains to be seen.
Sources at Arab Business Machines, the official distributor of Apple products in the Middle East, say they will have a better idea when the iPad will be available in the UAE once it becomes available in Europe where it sources its products.
So, if I were to gaze inside my crystal ball, I'd guess that we'd see the iPad at places like iStyle and Jacky's Electronics sometime around June.
Still, if you've got thousands of dirhams burning in your pockets, several electronic and only retailers offer various models of the iPad at a premium price.
