Italian luxury house Gucci has announced the first GucciFest, a fashion and film festival that will take place from Monday to Sunday, November 16 to 22.

The festival's main attraction will be the premiere of Overture Of Something That Never Ended, a seven-part series that presents Gucci's creative director Alessandro Michele's latest collection.

Directed by two-time Oscar nominee Gus Van Sant and Michele, the mini-series stars Italian actress, artist and performer Silvia Calderoni in what is described as a "surreal daily routine in the city", where she encounters stars such as Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Jeremy Harris, and Florence Welch among many others.

The festival programme also includes the screening of short films by 15 emerging young designers with their collections, who have been selected by Michele.

GucciFest will be broadcast on YouTube Fashion, Weibo, Gucci YouTube and will be embedded on the dedicated site GucciFest.com.
