Great value rock shrimp risotto in the DIFC

It’s official, summer has arrived. While Caramel in the DIFC has battened down the hatches, rumour has it, their outside terrace will be given a makeover in time for reopening in the fall.

Ladies night on Tuesday was packed when we swung by; of the food we tasted there were two exceptional dishes.

First up, yellowtail sashimi with Serrano chillies and a drizzle of ponzu sauce for Dh85. Followed by seared Chilean sea bass served on a bed of rock shrimp risotto and lobster broth, great value at just Dh150.

Other sharing platters worth a try include Caramel’s signature chicken lollipops and miso wrapped veggie rolls.
