Galeries Lafayette in The Dubai Mall is launching two new events to kick off the summer season.
The new Saturday Market will promote organic produce while offering a hands-on, interactive tasting experience where guests will get the chance to speak to producers of artisanal produce and gourmet items including handmade chutneys, pies, truffles, quiches, sausage, cheese, roasted coffee and more.
Featured suppliers include Balquees Honey; Dammann Tea; Royce Chocolates; Al Fumo salmon; The Farm House and more. The Saturday Market is held every Saturday from 10am to 2pm. Entry is free.
Galeries Lafayette will also host a Chef’s Table every week. The Chef’s Table will feature an interactive, live-cooking station experience where chefs from Le Gourmet will cook custom gourmet dishes for guests to savour. The Chef’s Table is held every Thursday from 7pm to 9pm, Dh125 per person, and includes one water and one mocktail.
