The Duchess of Cambridge always looks immaculate. She is known for her chic, classic style, and is an avid champion of classic British designers such as Temperley and Aspinal of London.

But every now and then, she opts for an affordable high-street look, showing that style doesn’t have to cost the earth.

On a recent royal visit to the English city of Bradford, the duchess was photographed wearing a classic houndstooth, pussy bow midi dress hot off the rails from high-street giant Zara.

And not only that — savvy shoppers were quick to point out that the dress is currently on sale, slashed from Dh499 to only Dh149.

Sadly, thanks to a royal boost, the dress has now sold out online, but with Zara stores across the UAE currently full to the brim with sale items, there’s a chance you could still get your hands on it.

She paired the dress with Aspinal’s Mayfair bag and a pair of classic block heels by Giancvito Rossi.

The Duchess and her husband Prince William visited two Khidmat Centres in Bradford, which help some of the community's most vulnerable members, as well as stopping by British Asian restaurant My Lahore. Posting on the Kensington Royal Instagram page, the pair said the visit evoked memories of their recent royal visit to Pakistan.
