Red carpets have become synonymous with awards shows, but the 2020 Emmy Awards was red-carpet-free.
Physical-distancing measures due to the coronavirus meant celebrities video called in from around the world for the ceremony. But that didn't stop many of the winners and nominees dressing up.
From Zendaya in sumptuous Armani Prive to Laverne Cox in Beirut fashion house Azzi & Osta, here is your guide to who wore what for the Emmys.
Jennifer Aniston in vintage Christian Dior
One of the few people actually at the theatre, Jennifer Aniston followed her recent tradition of picking vintage pieces, a sustainable move. At least she didn't have to wear the yellow gloves.

Fashion statement of the night definitely went to award winner Regina King. The Watchmen star not only implored people to vote during her acceptance speech, she also wore a Breonna Taylor T-shirt under her Schiaparelli suit. Taylor, 26, was an emergency medical technician who was fatally shot by Louisville Metro Police Department officers in her own home in March.
King's powerful look was styled by Wayman + Micah, which also dressed her in a Schiaparelli Couture gown for a pre-awards red carpet photo shoot.
Reese Witherspoon in Louis Vuitton
The actress-turned-powerhouse producer chose an LBD by Louis Vuitton. A classic.
Zendaya in Armani Prive
The incredibly stylish Zendaya wore an Armani Prive dress with a full polka-dot skirt while accepting her award.
While in another segment, she chose a dress by Louisiana-born designer Christopher John Rogers.

The actress looked like a timeless movie star and yet also ultra-modern in this sequin animal-print Dolce & Gabbana dress.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in Louis Vuitton
The sharpest-dressed man was definitely the Watchmen star who sported a classic navy pinstripe suit.
Laverne Cox in Azzi & Osta
The actress chose a hot-pink look by Beirut brand Azzi & Osta.
Issa Rae in Sergio Hudson

A chamomile-yellow dress was the actress's Emmys-from-home outfit of choice.
Tracee Ellis Ross in Alexandre Vauthier
Gold ruffles such as these scream "the celebration must go on".
Paul Mescal in Louis Vuitton
The Normal People star was at home and wore a sharp suit by Louis Vuitton, his famous silver necklace not visible.

The Unorthodox star wore a Chanel couture floral gown.
Yvonne Orji in Azzi & Osta
The Insecure star also chose a gorgeous gown by the Lebanese design house. This dress is all about that statement neckline.
Dan Levy in Thom Browne
The hilarious Schitt's Creek star and creator went for a kilt look in stone grey.
Catherine O'Hara in Valentino
Meanwhile, absolute legend, and Levy's TV mum, wore Valentino. Moira would be so proud.
Robin Thede in Christian Siriano
The comedian, writer and showrunner gave us a go-big-or-go-home gown moment, and we thank her for her service.
Yara Shahidi in Prada
This is not just Prada, it's custom Prada, naturally.
