After a week of touring Scotland with her husband the Duke of Cambridge, the Duchess of Cambridge had no less than four outfit changes on the final day of the royal tour.
Starting the morning with a visit to a community park and nearby elementary school, Kate Middleton opted to don a forest green casual blazer and matching trousers, paired with classic white Superga sneakers.
Moving on to an engagement at a tennis association's youth programme in Edinburgh, she selected a V-necked cable knit jumper, paired with tapered black trousers.
In the afternoon, the Duchess had an important engagement with Mila Sneddon, a cancer patient aged 5. The youngster was featured in the Hold Still photography project, spearheaded by Kate. The young girl was pictured in an image kissing her father through a window while she was shielding during chemotherapy treatment.
For this meeting, Kate channelled princess vibes in a flowing pink dress from designer ME+EM. Mila, who has previously spoken of her wish to be a princess, also wore a pink floaty dress.
Rejoining her husband Prince William later in the day, the royals wore co-ordinated outfits as they attended a ceremony at the Church of Scotland. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a powder blue Catherine Walker coat and the duke sported a matching blue tie.
The duchess wore a multitude of outfits during the week-long visit to Scotland. Several of these gave a nod to her hosts via a Strathearn tartan scarf, Scottish-made Hamilton & Inches earings and a full-length Marlborough tartan trench coat from Holland Cooper, which retails for £849 ($1,200).
The royal couple also made a stop at University of St Andrews as part of their tour. It was here that art history freshman Kate met a younger Prince William and fell in love, 20 years ago.
Since then, Catherine Middleton – more commonly known as Kate, has become well-versed in the art of royal dressing.
See her style evolution from university student to distinguished royal and one of the world's most photographed women here.
