Entries are now open for Al Bayt Mitwahid Association’s Innovate for Society competition where winners will receive funds of Dh500,000 to implement their ideas.
The contest, to be held in Sharjah, is part of the Al Bayt Mitwahid 2014-15 campaign and aims at supporting creative ideas that help address social challenges faced by members of the Sharjah community.
It is open to citizens and residents of all age groups.
The competition consists of five categories: education, civic responsibility, environment, health and well-being, and technology.
The 20 best ideas will be shortlisted and a panel of expert judges will select the final five proposals for funding.
