Samsung announces Galaxy Tab S in the UAE

Will feature the "most advanced mobile display on the market".

Samsung has announced its thinnest and lightest tablet yet, the Galaxy Tab S, which will be available in the UAE next month.

The Tab S will be available in the UAE in two sizes and connectivity options - the 8.4-inch Wi-Fi and LTE models at Dh1,699 and Dh2,099 respectively, and the 10.5-inch Wi-Fi and LTE models at Dh2,099 and Dh2,599 respectively.

Samsung said in a statement that it is delivering “the most advanced mobile display on the market” with the Tab S featuring “deeper more realistic images”, as it goes up against the likes of the iPad Air in a crowded tablet market.

“For customers looking for the ideal device to consume content on the go, the Galaxy Tab S delivers industry leading features that bring content to life, thanks to its true colour and astonishing detail,” said Denzil D’Souza, business head, mobility sales group, Samsung Gulf Electronics.

The Tab S comes in Titanium Bronze or Dazzling White.
