Dubai South has said that it will begin selling studio apartment units at The Pulse area of its masterplanned community with prices starting from Dh280,000, with sales set to start by the end of the month.

The Pulse is one of two residential communities that Dubai South announced at this year’s Cityscape Global event, with The Villages being the other.

Units at the Pulse are being built around a 70-metre-wide, six-lane boulevard.

The homes will be within a gated community with a retail centre, sports centre, schools, mosque, mall and hotels all nearby. The first units are due to be completed by 2019.

Units due to be sold will include apartments ranging from studios to three bedrooms, as well as two-bedroom and three-bedroom townhouses.

The executive chairman of Dubai South and Dubai Aviation City Corporation, Khalifa Al Zaffin, said that “deep thought, research and study has gone into designing the perfect residential community that is world-class in its offering”.

Dubai South is the master planned ‘aerotropolis’ being built on a 145-square-kilometre site on Dubai’s southern border. It contains the Al Maktoum International Airport, the Expo 2020 site and a major logistics district. The project was known as Dubai World Central until a rebrand was completed last year.
