Etihad to fly daily to Madrid starting in June

The Abu Dhabi carrier Etihad is raising its flight frequency to Madrid to daily from four times weekly.

The route, operated by an Airbus A330-200, will start daily service at the beginning of June next year.

Etihad’s flight to the Spanish capital offers 22 business-class seats and 240 in economy class. Travellers have access to Etihad’s codeshare partners Air Europa from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, which flies to seven cities in Spain and more to the rest of Europe, and Avianca, which flies to the Colombian capital Bogotá.

The added flights will increase cargo capacity on the route by 36 tonnes.
