Improv artists in Dubai have committed to 12 hours of non-stop improvisational theatre to raise funds for the victims of the recent earthquakes in Nepal which will take place on Saturday.

On the same day, students from schools across the country will take the stage for the first Inter-school Theatresports Championship Tournament, as well. Theatre sports is team-based competitive improvisation. It was introduced by Courtyard Playhouse last year. The evening will also see participants of the Medieval Theatresports League 2015 share the platform for a final showdown.

Attendees can sponsor their favourite thespian to help raise money for the cause. All proceeds will be donated to the UK-based not-for-profit organisation Children Of The Mountain, which funds education and personal development projects in rural Nepal.

The Improv marathon will begin at 10am on Saturday at the Courtyard Playhouse. To donate and attend, visit www.courtyardplayhouse.com
