Image Nation Abu Dhabi and the UAE’s Berlin Embassy are to host an official European launch event for the #supportarabcinema campaign during next month’s Berlin Film Festival.
The campaign, which launched in the Middle East last year and currently has over 11,000 supporters, is spearheaded by key local industry figures and organisations including Image Nation and Dubai International Film Festival, and encourages supporters to attend Arab film screenings in cinemas and share their experiences using the hashtag.
