The Dubai World Cup is regarded as the social event of the year, but if you can’t wait until Saturday to start the celebrations, three Dubai venues are hosting pre-World Cup nights this weekend.
On Thursday, The Act at the Shangri-La Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road is serving up Peruvian food while guests are entertained by a host of international performers.
On Friday, head out to Blue Marlin where the top DJs Finnebassen, Jean Claude Ades and the duo MANDY will be getting the crowd moving.
Back in the city on Friday night, the official launch of the restaurant and club Atelier M in Dubai Marina is doubling as a curtain-raiser to the Dubai World Cup, with live performances from Lloyd, Bobby V and Jeremih.
