Dubai-based distributor Front Row has picked up the surreal comedy Swiss Army Man – starring Daniel Radcliffe – for Middle East distribution. We loved the movie when we saw it at Sundance this year, though it did split opinion, with many walking out at the sight of the former Harry Potter star portraying a flatulent corpse. Swiss Army Man may not appeal to all, but it is good to see non-blockbuster movies increasingly reaching these shores, alongside multiplex-packing blockbusters. A release date has yet to be set.
