In the wake of a jewellery heist by armed robbers in Paris earlier this week, reality TV star Kim Kardashian West has cancelled her upcoming trip to Dubai which was scheduled for October 14.
Celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic took to Instagram to announce the news in a post which cites “recent events” as the reason for the Dh6,127 per-head tutorial with the 35-year-old needing to be “rescheduled to a later date”. He went on to say that the new masterclass time, date and location would be confirmed in “a few days”.
In a longer message to fans he wrote on his website:
Dear Dubai Masterclass Attendees,
On behalf of myself and Kim Kardashian West, please accept our apologies. We are sorry to inform you that due to the recent events, we will be rescheduling the Dubai Masterclass with Kim Kardashian West. We understand the inconvenience that this has caused you. You will have the option to cancel and receive a full refund, or we can hold the ticket for the rescheduled date. Rescheduling details will be sent out within the week. We deeply and sincerely apologize from the bottom of our hearts. We truly hope you all understand the decision we had to make and look forward to our upcoming class. We will update you via email and TheMasterClass.com.
Sincerely,
Mario
Kardashian West visited the UAE in 2011 to open the Millions of Milkshakes store in Dubai Mall and again in 2014 to launch her perfume Fleur Fatale at the Parfum Monde showroom in Dubai.
