Ah, the summer of 2006, those halcyon days when growth charts seemed to climb ever-upwards and everyone could agree that Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy" was, without question, the song of the summer. Propertyfinder.ae announced today that its May 2009 property prices are a bit of a throwback to this simpler time, at least in terms of property prices.
"The pricing levels are not sitting around the same as they were in 2006 -- and in some areas, year 2005," the company announced. "We are seeing areas in Abu Dhabi gaining momentum in popularity for a variety of reasons...Sought-after areas are beginning to sell at reasonable prices, still high from a global perspective but definitely not exaggerated."
