Meals were set aside at the food court of Mall of the Emirates as a group of people abruptly broke into a song-and-dance routine last weekend.
A flash mob was organised for visitors of the mall as part of the Dubai Food Festival.
Malls around town have a line-up of food-themed entertainment, activities and in-mall competitions for the festival, which runs until March 15.
Malls participating include Dubai Mall, Deira City Centre, Mirdif City Centre, Mercato Town Centre and Dubai Marina Mall.

- Start with a simple recipe such as yogurt or sauerkraut
