American Comedian Godfrey He was cast by Ben Stiller in <em>Zoolander</em> to play himself and has appeared in <em>Johnson Family Vacation</em> and<em> Soul Plane</em>. Tonight, the American actor and comedian Godfrey is performing live in Dubai as part of Dubomedy Art's Monday Night Funnies closing night. After a three-month run, Dubomedy announced its exclusive season finale featuring the Comedy Central "surprise superstar" who will help bring the season to an "epic" end. Godfrey C Danchimah Jr has also made appearances in the hit series <em>30 Rock</em> and <em>Third Watch</em>. “We chose Godfrey as our grand season finale headliner because he is a leading comedian in the US circuit, is absolutely hilarious and just happened to be in the country around the same time. It all worked out great,” says Mina Liccione, the co-founder of Dubomedy. Godfrey was in Dubai performing this weekend at The Gramercy DIFC as part of its comedy nights. This evening will start out with a guest appearance from the UAE’s improv comedy troupe Improv Revolution, including themed games and audience contests. Pakistan's stand-up comedian Saad Haroon is also taking the stage. The show takes place at Blends, The Address, Dubai Marina at 8pm tonight.
