Amitabh Bachchan thrilled about meeting fans in Egypt

Amitabh Bachchan, who is going to be in Egypt on March 31 for the India by Nile festival, can't wait to meet his fans there.
The Bollywood actor, 72, is the guest of honour at this year's festival, a cultural extravaganza celebrates music, dance, art, film, food and literature. Bachchan will give a talk on his films – especially the 1977 superhit Amar Akbar Anthony, still popular among fans in Egypt – at the Opera House in Cairo on March 31. He will attend a gala event at the pyramids later in the day.
Big B wrote on his blog: "... And then prepare for Egypt and Cairo for the 'India by the Nile' festival and activities, starting in a few days... Egypt was a revelation on my visit there in '90s. The enthusiasm and the love of the people was incredible and invaluable.
"It still remains presumably, and I hope that my short visit gives me ample time to reach out to my well wishers and friends."
The third edition of India by Nile opens on March 28 and runs until April 17.
