Pop superstar Rita Ora is heading to Base Dubai on Saturday, March 10.
For those unfamiliar with her name, you've probably heard her voice at some point. She's been a part of collaborations (Avicii's Lonely Together) as well as duets (For You with Liam Payne).
But she has also had an impressive number of hit singles all of her own, including Anywhere, Your Song and I Will Never Let You Down - all of which have made it onto the UK Singles Chart.
The 27-year-old headlined #RedFestDXB in 2016. She hasn't released a new album in six years because of turmoil with her former record label Roc Nation.
When we spoke to her in 2016 she pointed out that she prefers to play at festivals over clubs: "For me, the club experience is about having fun and getting crazy. So if I am performing in the club, I can't be that way. I am concentrated and professional but as soon as the work is done I go out and have fun".
Base Dubai is located in Dubai Design District and opened late year. The nightclub has already seen an impressive lineup of international talent, including Axwell, Jason Derulo, Rick Ross and more.

WHAT IS GRAPHENE?
It was discovered in 2004, when Russian-born Manchester scientists Andrei Geim and Kostya Novoselov were experimenting with sticky tape and graphite, the material used as lead in pencils.
Placing the tape on the graphite and peeling it, they managed to rip off thin flakes of carbon. In the beginning they got flakes consisting of many layers of graphene. But when they repeated the process many times, the flakes got thinner.
By separating the graphite fragments repeatedly, they managed to create flakes that were just one atom thick. Their experiment led to graphene being isolated for the very first time.
In 2010, Geim and Novoselov were awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics.
