Dua Lipa to headline Louvre Abu Dhabi's one-year anniversary celebrations

Taking place from November 8 until November 11, the four-day celebrations will feature concerts, exhibitions, family activities and workshops as well as pop-up spoken art performances

Louvre Abu Dhabi has announced a packed programme in celebration of its one-year anniversary with an exclusive performance from Dua Lipa as the headline act on Sunday, November 11.

The 22-year-old British singer has taken the music world by storm with her raspy voice and soulful lyrics.

It was during a 2010 visit to her Albanian parents' homeland that Lipa began dropping pop song covers of Nelly Furtado and Pink on her YouTube account. She attracted the attention of Lana Del Rey’s manager Ben Mawson, who signed her up to the major label Warner Music Group three years ago.

The One Kiss hitmaker is sure to Blow Your Mind if her performance at Du Arena in February this year was anything to go by. She dazzled about 3,000 fans at du Forum on Yas Island with an intense performance. Lipa's performance will take place at Louvre Abu Dhabi's concert village on November 11. Tickets are Dh200 with free entry to the museum from 2pm to 6pm. The doors of the concert village will open from 6pm with DJ sets before the show.
