The Art Gallery at NYU Abu Dhabi and the curator Houda Lazrak, a museum studies candidate at the university, bring together five UAE-based street artists for an interactive afternoon of art. Fathima (aka Fats), Gary Yong (aka Enforce 1), Justin McMahon (aka JustOne), Steffi Bow and Sya One will come equipped with spray cans, markers, acrylic paint and stencils and have been invited to demonstrate their painting skills on a multi-dimensional surface. Students, faculty, staff and visitors to the event can experiment with the tools of the trade and create their own artwork.

This exploration of street art is also intended to serve as a platform to share more about the art of spray painting as well as the artistic process of street artists. At 5pm there will be a demonstration painting technique. The artwork created during this event will remain on the campus for one week.
