This weekend will be jam packed with art at outdoor venues across Dubai.
On JBR, a paintball wall will be set up at The Beach in collaboration with Dubai Centre for Special Needs. For a small fee of Dh25, children and adults alike will be able to launch paint balls at a white wall to create a coloured wall at the end of the weekend. All proceeds will go towards the centre.
Over at Box Park on Al Wasl Road, Noush like Sploosh, an interdisciplinary artist will create a site-specific installation with the recycled objects. In addition, Andrew Del Rasario, has crafted a kaleidoscope, which allows viewers to see a selection of patterns and colours in the bright daylight.
On City Walk, very close to Box Park, master calligrapher Wissam Shawkat will engage visitors by creating a live piece in an abstract design that represents his style and the words “For the Love of the City” in Arabic.
