UNGA 2020: General Debate final session as it happened

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed slams 'blatant interference' in Arab affairs

After hundreds of video messages from world leaders, the 75th UN General Assembly came to a close on Tuesday after the final session of the General Debate.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, told the assembly that the Abraham Accord signing with Israel has paved the way for "peace in the region".

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also spoke during the final session, blasting Iran as the "greatest enemy of peace in the Middle East".

Dr Anwar Gargash, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, also appeared on a Council on Foreign Relations panel.
