The Washington, DC, Metropolitan Police Department has released dozens of photos of Trump supporters involved in Wednesday's deadly rioting at the Capitol building. A set of 26 slides contained images of "persons of interest in unrest-related offences". Most protesters are suspected of unlawful entry to US Capitol grounds on January 6, 2021, about 1.30pm, the slide read. On Wednesday, Muriel Bowser, the Mayor of Washington, said there “was clearly a failure” in the way Capitol police responded. Metropolitan police arrested 68 people on Wednesday and Thursday morning, with most for breaking the curfew. Only one of those arrested was a resident of the District of Columbia
