SHARJAH // A 5-year old Emirati boy and a 27-year-old Indian man were killed in separate run-over accidents in Sharjah this week.
The Emirati, M A, died of his injuries after he was run over by a bus belonging to Al Hamriya Club in front of his home in Al Hamriya in Sharjah on Monday.
The Indian man was killed when he was run over by a private vehicle while crossing a road in the Al Hamriya area at around 7am on Tuesday.
Prior to the two latest incidents, a 3-year girl, M M H, died after being run over by a reversing vehicle at her family's home in Al Dhaid area.
Sharjah police said that there were 33 fatalities as a result of run-over accidents in the emirate last year.
