Motorists heading to Dubai from Sharjah can expect traffic congestion on Al Ittihad until Mulla Plaza tunnel, and Mohammed bin Zayed Road until Al Qusais bridge this morning, according to Dubai Police.
An accident also caused traffic congestion on Sheikh Zayed Road near Mall of the Emirates towards Dubai.
TrafficDXB tweeted at 8.30am about an accident on E44 Ras Al Khor Road near Ras Al Khor Wild Life Sanctuary towards Dubai, and several accidents causing congestion and delays on E44 Al Khail Road after the Latifa Bin Hamdan Street interchange towards Dubai Mall.
In the capital, the traffic flow was smooth, according to Abu Dhabi Traffic Department.
