DUBAI // One person has been killed and three were injured in a crash in front of Grand City Mall, in Al Quoz.

According to Colonel Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, director of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police, a pick-up truck suddenly swerved into a minibus at 6.30am on Thursday.

The minibus toppled while the pick-up truck swerved off the road and hit the entrance of a company, running over two guards.

One of the guards was killed, while the other was seriously injured and had to be air-lifted to hospital.

The truck driver also sustained serious injuries.
