Man killed in hit-and-run accident in Sharjah

The 41-year-old was taken to Al Kuwait Hospital after being hit by a vehicle in the Sharjah Free Zone, where he died.

SHARJAH // A Japanese man was killed in a hit-and-run accident in the Sharjah Free Zone area on Saturday.

The 41-year-old was taken to Al Kuwait Hospital, where he died, reported Aletihad, the Arabic-language sister newspaper of The National.

A spokesman for Sharjah Police said the death is being investigated.
