Valet parking services are set to resume in Abu Dhabi amid strict Covid-19 safety measures.
The staff and drivers will have to use disposable seat and steering covers to minimise the risk of infection.
They should also wear face masks and gloves at all times and change them at regular intervals.
Companies should ensure that employees are trained in taking preventive measures.
Staff members need to present a negative Covid-19 test before reporting to work and their temperature should be checked throughout the day.
Customers should maintain a physical distance of two metres from the staff. Floor markings should also be placed to help people keep a safe distance from one another.
Sanitiser will be available at all public places and payment points. Customers are encouraged to use e-payment methods and avoid cash when possible.
Dubai allowed hotels and resorts to offer valet parking in June after it was suspended for a month due to the pandemic.

Hydrogen: Market potential
Hydrogen has an estimated $11 trillion market potential, according to Bank of America Securities and is expected to generate $2.5tn in direct revenues and $11tn of indirect infrastructure by 2050 as its production increases six-fold.
"We believe we are reaching the point of harnessing the element that comprises 90 per cent of the universe, effectively and economically,” the bank said in a recent report.

The cost of electrolysers used in green hydrogen production has halved over the last five years and will fall to 60 to 90 per cent by the end of the decade, acceding to Haim Israel, equity strategist at Merrill Lynch. Libya's Gold
UN Panel of Experts found regime secretly sold a fifth of the country's gold reserves.
The panel’s 2017 report followed a trail to West Africa where large sums of cash and gold were hidden by Abdullah Al Senussi, Qaddafi’s former intelligence chief, in 2011.
Cases filled with cash that was said to amount to $560m in 100 dollar notes, that was kept by a group of Libyans in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
A second stash was said to have been held in Accra, Ghana, inside boxes at the local offices of an international human rights organisation based in France.
