The UAE on Saturday announced 561 new Covid-19 cases, plus a further 121 recoveries and eight deaths.
The overall number of people who have tested positive for the coronavirus is 13,599, with a total of 2,664 recoveries and 119 fatalities.
On average, 29,000 people were tested each day and the figure was 36,000 on Saturday, officials announced.
Of those recently diagnosed with Covid-19, 22 are people with determination.
Speaker at a briefing on Saturday, Professor Alawi Alsheikh-Ali, spokesman for the country's advanced sciences sector, said that smokers and people with obesity were at higher risk.
Those heart conditions, asthma and high blood pressure must also be cautious.
