ABU DHABI // A series of swoops on cosmetic stores and beauty salons have taken place as part of a campaign to make sure that hygiene and sanitation rules are followed.
Inspectors from Abu Dhabi Municipality issued 15 warnings after finding expired cosmetics and confiscating other banned and anonymous substances.
The focus was businesses within the precincts of Al Shahama Municipal Centre.
The week-long campaign was to enforce health regulations for commercial activities and found that a number of outlets are not meeting these requirements.
