UAE leaders have sent congratulatory messages to Halimah Yacob, President of Singapore, on the occasion of her country's National Day on August 9.

Adnoc’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi lit up with the colours of the Singaporean flag on the special day.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, visited the South-East Asian nation in February 2019.

During his visit, the two leaders discussed ways to further co-operation in areas of mutual interest and discussed matters on trade, investments, tourism and cultural and educational exchanges.
