UAE traffic: Fog delays in Abu Dhabi and Dubai

Heavy traffic was also building in several areas in Dubai including DIFC and Bur Dubai

Dubai police have urged motorists to be cautious due to foggy conditions.

Slow traffic was reported this morning on the E311 Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Road from Al Turrfa - Sharjah to Dubai and on Damascus and Beirut streets in Al Qusais Industrial area and Third Industrial Street in Sharjah and from Industrial Area 7, Sharjah to Al Khabaisi on E11 - Al Ittihad road.

Commuters should expect delays on E611 - Emirates Road from At Atain to Al Eyas due to a minor accident, D89 - Airport Road from Al Garhoud to Dubai, on D75 - Sheikh Rashid Street from Al Jafiliya to Bur Dubai and on D71 - Upper Deck Road from Za'abeel 2 to DIFC.

Tailbacks continued on E44 - Al Awir Road,  D67 - Al Manama Street, D83 - Al Rebat Street and on E66 - Dubai-Al Ain Road.

In Abu Dhabi, Police had also urged motorists to be cautious on the roads due to heavy fog covering many parts of the country on Monday and shared Guidelines on how to Drive Safely in the Fog.

Heavy traffic was building on 17th Street in Mussafah, on Street - 33 in Khalifa City, on Shakhbout Bin Sultan Street and on 63rd Street and 51st Street in Mohammed Bin Zayed City.
