ABU DHABI // The General Women’s Union and the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood (SCMC), have held the first meeting of the School Bullying National Council in cooperation with Unesco.
Chaired by Reem Abdullah Al Falasi, secretary-general of the SCMC, the event was held on Wednesday at the Women’s Union office and discussed different aspects of the bullying prevention including its desired goals and distribution of roles.
Ms Al Falasi said preventing bullying guarantees children’s rights to education and protection from all forms of violence.
